Hey everyone!
100% new to audio of ANYTHING! I have a 01 Wrangler I need some help with the sound system. I have a pioneer head unit (have no details on that) I have upgraded the sound bar speakers to kickers and I also put kickers in the dash. I had a sub in the center console but was unhappy with it so I took it out. The sound bar speakers are great. The dash ones I assume I need some amp help as I don't hear them at all. After reading some threads I see I need to stuff my sound bar with poly-fill but I need help with a amp and a sub. I don't need to blow the windows out of the neighbors but a good sound with a thump would be great. I have absolutely no knowledge on anything audio. I have asked for help from some others but keep getting blown off. So can someone help me out? I need some good sounding tunes out on the trails.

There are some threads on here and from what I have read polks are the way to go but back to what you have... I a Jeep with the top off you need the sound to stay in and perform as long as possible so a down firing box is where I would start for the bass. I have heard good things about the boxes built for under the seat but have no experience with them. To get a better sounds in you components I am a HUGE fan of the RF 4 channel 600w amps. And yes Polly fill the sound bar would help. There are many smart people on here and I by no means a pro but I have down quite a few systems that I feel work well

Dash speakers will always be the weak point, Polk db522 are the most efficient speaker out there and will require less amperage to make the most sound. There are sound pods available that will help the dash speakers.

I went cheap on my upgrade, db522 in bar, will be doing same in dash (scored a nice set of dash pods 3d printed from a forum member).
added a single channel amp and upgraded the sub in the console. crutchfield will usually put the db522 on sale for $59.99/pair and they ship with free adapter plugs. For a sub you should really make sure your head unit has a rca pre out for the sub...most do.

Like I said I did mine on the cheap, there are write ups from @Chris that are an upgraded version of this.
