Hey everyone!
100% new to audio of ANYTHING! I have a 01 Wrangler I need some help with the sound system. I have a pioneer head unit (have no details on that) I have upgraded the sound bar speakers to kickers and I also put kickers in the dash. I had a sub in the center console but was unhappy with it so I took it out. The sound bar speakers are great. The dash ones I assume I need some amp help as I don't hear them at all. After reading some threads I see I need to stuff my sound bar with poly-fill but I need help with a amp and a sub. I don't need to blow the windows out of the neighbors but a good sound with a thump would be great. I have absolutely no knowledge on anything audio. I have asked for help from some others but keep getting blown off. So can someone help me out? I need some good sounding tunes out on the trails.

You can look up the manual for the head unit on line. If your dash speakers are hooked up correctly it’s possible the head unit is set all the way to the rear (sound bar) speakers. The instructions will tell you how to set it to activate front and rear in the fader.
You won’t get any thump from just the sound bar and dash speakers, they aren’t really capable of bass below maybe 100 hz, perhaps higher. A woofer is what is needed to create thump. The Pioneer may have a sub output to run an outboard amp for a small sub.

In my opinion a good route would be to put a 5 channel amp in, these amps power your front (dash) and rear (soundbar) and a subwoofer.
