Have a 99 tj with rear 2003 dana 44 non disk. Have been battling seal leaks and even worse since re gearing. Have done drivers side 3 times and now both sides having issues. Chromeolly axles are straight and no obvious damage to be seen but still leaking even after detailed cleaning and instaling spot on. Differential is leaned back due to lift and SYE placement but don't think overfilled with lube as no foaming or blow-by out of vent (vent is not plugged) Can someone pass along a part number for a speedy seal if you have gone down this frustrating path witn success.

Thank you in advance

Is the axle housing itself bent? The axle shafts and seals and everything else could be pristine, but if the whole axle assembly is even slightly banana-shaped, it will destroy seals and bearings very quickly. Rather difficult to measure unless you pull the carrier and axle shafts and look through the tubes, but if it's bad enough, sometimes you can even measure it with a good angle finder.

Looked over everything with a fine tooth comb and starting to believe the issue is the chromeolly axles are just a tad larger then stock. Lots of those kits come with seals so trying to figure out just what seal to use. Not a lot of chatter about this theory but even talk on vent tube being to long with the chromeollys but we are talking super minimal numbers but at this point Ill grasp at any straw lol. So if this cant be dialed in Im going to bite the bullet and go with a new housing since just because I cant see it maybe there IS an issue with it being true. So yep banging head against wall not getting me anywhere so fingers crossed this last cheap attempt. Thanks man
