A/C doesn’t blow cold, limited defrost function as well which led me down the compressor rabbit hole. Anyone know if I’m on the right track?

Sounds like one of the accessory belt pulleys or bearings. Let it squeal at idle and spray some WD40 on each individual pulley until the noise goes away. Then you’ll know you’ve found your culprit.

Thanks! Sounds like an easy enough test. PO had mentioned an A/C issue but of course it wasn’t making this noise when purchased so I figured the two were possibly related.

Yes this but...

Don't do them all immediately...spray...wait 5 seconds. Move to the next one.
You'll know which one(s) are making a ruckus
