Squealing when I first crank it after sitting awhile

I have a 1998 jeep wrangler 4.0 5 speed and after sitting for a couple hours when I crank it it squeals for a few seconds has a new alternator new idler pulleys and new belt

Could it be a slipping serpentine belt? The belt tightening screw is the real long threaded vertical screw on the power steering pully.

The 1998 TJ 4.0L doesn’t have an automatic tensioner; you need to go back and check the belt tension.

That’s what’s I’m thinking it is I just tightened it some more I can turn it about 90 degrees and it has some good resistance

Check your harmonic balancer, they are known to start to separate where the balancer mates to the steel inner pulley.
