Steering knuckle replacement

All,
I have a 2006 TJ. I replaced replaced the Tie Rod and Drag Link (Crown Automotive HD Steering Kit Steering) Drive side tie rod feels loose. In order to get a tight fit the castle nut is below the cotter pin hole. I am assuming the hole is wallowed out and the knuckle needs to be replaced? Should I replace the passenger side also? TIA

I'd add some heavy washers to fill up the space.

That's what I did on I think the upper ball joints on my Dodge Ram. It's been fine for about 2500 miles so far.

I would just swap the knuckle its not that hard and will give you piece of mind
