Steering Wheel Turns to Full Lock

How many turns of the steering wheel until full lock should the TJ have? Mine is about 1.5-1.75 turns until I hear the steering pump start to struggle. Seems like the TJ should have a better turning radius than it has. Tires are 31x10.50 on 3.5” backspacing so no rubbing on LCAs. My wife’s JLU appears to have a better turning radius than my TJ.

When you’re driving straight, stop and take a picture of the pitman arm. Also, did you check for washers in the steering stops?

Solved! Turns out the previous owner installed some longer bolts that looked oddly similar to the OEM ones
