Still a little fuel spillage after GM hose swap

Hi all - so I had the overflow problem typical of 2005/2006 LJs. I did the swap to the GM fuel filler hose. I just filled up and it is much better, but I still got a slight overflow when the pump stopped. I marked the hose where the indent was before I cut it and aligned it to the top of the tank (pointing up). Did I align this wrong or do you still get a little bit. Thanks!

100x - the GM filler hose isn't the fix for the problem, it fixes the symptom. You need to drop your tank, pull the pump, and reach into the filler neck to fix the rollover valve.

The GM fuel filler is not the correct fix. It’s a Band-Aid at best. To fix the issue correctly you need to drop the tank and follow the instructions in this thread:

Thanks everyone ... when I googled a fix for this, I got links to the GM filler hose "fix". I will stick with that for now since it's done and put the real fix on my list.
