Stuck window

I have a tj passenger door and the window is stuck in the up position. I cannot get it down to replace the window regulator. How do I get this window to lower so I can unbolt the window. I have unbolted the window crank and all but it sitll will no lower anymore than 2 inches. I dont want to break the glass Any ideas?

Been awhile since I’ve been inside a full door but you need to try to break the regulator mechanism/cable so the window can move down.

I disconnected the regulator and the cables dont seem to be in a bind. I will take the regulator apart if that will do it. Just need to get the window down so I can get the window out.

Is the door straight or does it have a dent in it?

I took the regulator apart and the wiring out of it. That let the window down and will be able to fix it now. Thanks for the help
