I'm sure many of you have replaced your manual window regulators, My window jams up at about 80% when rolling up 1997 TJ when coming back down no problem at all. I pulled the inside door panel and removed the front corner track piece so I could see if the problem was the regulator, felt or a possible bent upper window frame. I can get the window up 100% but it gets hung up in the front part of the door frame even with the felt removed. I circled the piece on the regulator I'm concerned with. Is this piece supposed to have side to side /up and down wiggle or is it supposed to be solid just straight up and down? I can get the window to close with some manipulation it almost seems like the window needs to be adjusted side to side but I don't see where that is possible. When I roll the window up the lower angled part of the window actually gets hung on the upper part of the door frame even with the felt removed ..It's not going straight up and down there is about a 1.00/ 1.5 inch difference from side to side the inner part of the window towards the door lock is the high side. Any assistance/guidance is greatly appreciated.
