Subwoofer wiring question

The white showing in the first pic of the speaker wire part is the side of the speaker frame. White is sticker with s/n on it.

Did you trim any parts inside the console?

I recall that we needed to trim (big scissors or dremel) a portion to get the Kicker speaker to fully fit inside the console box? My guess is that a little trimming may be needed to get the speaker to fit entirely flush.

Put the dremel to that section of the enclosure. Ground it almost paper thin. Cant just cut it out of the way because it is a sealed box. That was enough to push the speaker in enough to screw it down. Added a bit of caulk around the speaker to seal up the old holes and any possible air gap between the speaker and the box. Going to start scotch padding the tub to get an extra heavy paint protection done. Might start putting in some amps and such too. Finally getting this "quick " project moving again.
