I am looking into getting new shocks for my 2006 TJ. What are some recommended good quality shocks? Was thinking about using Bilstein....
I have a 4" lift on it.

Rancho rs5000x or black max. Get the length that sets the travel up 50/50 up and down for your ride height.

I’m not a fan of bilstein as they’re very stiff. If you have a boat of a jeep with a lot and I mean a lot of weight then they do well but on a normal jeep they were too stiff for me.

thanks, that's good information, i have procomp adjustable shocks on it now and it rides to rough. i have had to replace 2 of them also.

He is dead right. They will jar your eyeteeth out. Follow his advice and you are gold.
