SWAG finger press DIY mess-up

Well I fucked it up. Everything fit, had tacks then did complete weld and did exactly what I was afraid of and it bent the tubes in at the ends... So what are your bright ideas to bend these back out? It fits the rods when flipped upside down but stops right past the cross bars. Tried some hammering but this is .2" wall tube.

Cut it all back off, re aligned, tacked.... NOPE.

Cut the tacks and I'm trying the fixture in place method. I'm sure I'm going to fuck it up still but it appears to be working at the moment.

Got it together and functioning. The cross bars did the trick. Recommend taking the tubes assembled on the rods instead of on a table like the instructions say.

i want do some aluminum stuff is what ive been planning in my head for this. I want to do an aluminum console and cargo box and use aircraft rivets to assemble.
