Took an off-road excursion with @b0xcar to SWR Off-Road (Stillwater’s Ranch) near Llano, TX. We had a drivers meeting that was almost pointless at 8:45am. The trip was guided from couple hours before we were turned loose to get in trouble (my favorite part). Our guide drove this heavily modified CJ on 43’s. Anyone notice anything strange about the CJ? My 12 year old son noticed right away...

Here are a few shots from the day. It was a dry and dusty and hot one!

Sure was a good day of wheeling. Still cleaning dust out of my ears!

We are climbing up a trail called fenceline in the 3rd and 4th pic @JMT posted. Very steep fairly easy climb (at first glance, I thought there was no way this was part of our trail) going up!

Little video footage coming down fenceline (pic 9 and 12 in JMTs post). Coming down was also steep with a couple "small" ledges.

Part 1
Got a little hung up here but recovered nicely. A TT would have been great for this 1st drop.

Part 2
After we got out of the sticky situation.

Very cool part of the trail. Steep, small ledges and loose rock.

Here is a video of a trail called Pigeon Toe.

This was at the start of the trail. Probably one of my favorite of the day. In the 5th picture @JMT posted was part of this trail.

Couple shots from fenceline.

5 grill slots as opposed to seven

I knew something looked off. Must be custom though, doesn't look like the standard 5 slot Postal Jeep grill.

Th CJ was narrowed by cutting it length wise. Pretty serious surgery if you ask me.

The front tires point in different directions. One tire looks straight, the other looks like it is turned.
Doesn't look like they are aligned, imo
The eye deceiveth

Finally got some videos to upload to my youtube channel! Enjoy

Long Hill Climb up Fenceline. YOu should have seen this hill. Doesn't look possible, but just point the Jeep that way and shoot...

Looks like good times brah! Oil pan skid needs to be in your near future.
It's one reason I'm asking the Q in the PM. LOL! If I do that I'll do the whole SYE/DC, Upper Rear Control Arms and UCF skid plate system.....and maybe some 1541H 27 spline axles!!!! Decisions, decisions

You have till April to get-r-done then. Does the Super 35 kit bump your shafts up to 30 spline? Just curious. Don't know much about Dana 35's.

Yes, the super 35 beefs axles up to 30 spline. Has to to accept a locker.

It has a really small spare tire on the windshield hinge ;)

There must have been a time
when we could have said no.
