SYE questions

installing the Teraflex ESS SYE.

seems to run into a dilemma.

i’m having partial engagements when it should be in just RWD.

is it possible the fork slid?

it seems as if the drive shaft is sitting too low

Is that shifter rod that goes into the little hole on the housing you took off now too long?

I’ve never seen it in person but the bleepin jeep SYE video shows him needing to cut that rod down. That’s my best complete & total guess.

I thought that was only on some XJs? Shaft length issue...

I screwed up installing my oil pump three times before I figured it out.

Put it together without RTV and shift it through all the positions before you decide to glue it together.

it’s a tj 231 so i don’t need to shorthen the rod
