Ok, here's another noobish question...is tarping a Jeep worth the effort?
This weekend, I pulled the hardtop off the TJ and fashioned a set of mirror brackets. Until I have the time to design and build my version of a 'one person hardtop hoist/storage mechanism', the TJ is going to stay topless.
My plan is to pick up an adequate sized tarp and a bunch of bungee cords; & just tarp it for overnight parking. (I'm in a very rural area so security is not a concern). I'm only looking to keep the interior from getting damp overnight.
From those of you that have done this...Is it worth the effort? Will it keep the interior from getting damp? Any pointers to what type of tarp to get?
I should point out, that if there's rain in the forecast, I can move one of our cars into the driveway and park the Jeep in the garage.
