Wondering what the group thinks about a Teraflex 3" lift kit? Worth the money, or better to just piece one together myself . . .

Wondering what the group thinks about a Teraflex 3" lift kit? Worth the money, or better to just piece one together myself . . .
Good advice here!Hello from a fellow 04 EGL Rubi owner!
I just purchased 3" lift components. From my recent experience, I think that is very overpriced. You can get all of those components with better quality AND a set of shocks for the same price.
To match what is in that kit:
JKS 3" springs - $365
JKS Rear TB Relo bracket -$60
Zone rear extended sway links - $40
Rock Krawler bump stop kit - 60
JKS sway discos -$175
All of that is ~$700. Throw in a set of Rancho 5000x shocks for $225 and you're still under the cost of that kit.
Hopefully, that will save us 12 pages of BS.The group thinks something like this.
Your dumb buy Savvy/Currie.
Not uh! I have metal cloak and it’s fine.
Metal cloak advertising lies have you seen there fenders?
JJVW: Why do you think you need a lift?
Yeah whatever Currie has a useless Zerk fitting.
My metal cloak bushings have never given me a problem.
Will you be trying to run a TRUE 33 or tiny KO2’s they are not a TRUE 33.
Chris: I have XYZ brand and it the greatest most magical super duper cool thing ever.
Metal Cloak Fenders are not a real
Highline.
JJVW: what will that do to your track bar angle in the winter in Colorado on a trail where it matters?
I like Old man EMU (everyone together tells this guy he is wrong)
Goes like that for 12 pages then we all find something we can agree on
LET’S GO BRANDON!
I think I just added a couple complications that may drag the page count out some... oops...Hopefully, that will save us 12 pages of BS.
Hopefully, but not likely.
BDS 3" too, includes JKS discos. Does not include Fox shocks as pictured, but their NX shocks are included. Still $200 less than the teraflex kit.Or you could go with the Zone kit for roughly 1/2 the price...
