He was arrested for driving shitfaced, he even knee'd one of the jail deputies the day he was arrested lol. He spent 10 days in jail over that event. Whoda thunk the Rhinestone Cowboy singer himself could ever have done that and looked like that lol.I've used that pic as an avatar for years now, and I still chuckle every time I see it! He's was a level of mad there that I hope to never achieve in my life!
Strangely enough, I met a family member of his through work before he passed away, and based on what she had to say, it was par for the course, unfortunately. Obviously, I don't know the political inner workings of their family, and I only heard her side of the story. That said, she didn't say many things that were considered positive in a polite society about the man. I did like his music though!
