i would like to start off by saying thank you, and express my gratitude to everyone. Your solutions and experience has served me well. I am learning about my Jeep on a regular basis here. I appreciate the sharing of knowledge you have.
Little about me, oilfield, Army, steel processing, retard now. Had a CJ 25 years ago as an E-6, then life happened and I sold it. After looking for quite a while, I recently bought my 2003 Rubicon. It had spent quite a bit of its life being towed behind an RV, and evidently has seen quite a bit of the US, and Canada. The older guy who owned it maintained it for the most part, but really didn’t have a passion for it. To him, it was just a Jeep.
Now, it has the top spot on the driveway, and receives the TLC she deserves. A truckload of little issues, housepaint overspray, many aged parts, and a new enthusiastic owner.
Thanks to a lot of people on here, she will be healed!

Welcome. Army vet here too! Glad to hear you're back in a Jeep. And yes these guys have so much knowledge that it's truly amazing!

O and post some pics ;)

Glad you're giving the ole lady the attention she deserves.

Keep us posted on the progress and solicit help for anything that comes up. I think you'll find everyone here likes to pay it forward.

Thanks guys. Just posted a few pictures in the new guy section.
I have been a lurker for a while, and have heeded many of the experts here. Seriously, I thank you all, and hope to learn a bunch more.
