You ever have a friend help you? But it doesn't quite work out?
I had to buy a part for my Jeep. It had some rust. I showed it to a friend. And he offered to strip it for me.
Mind you he's a close friend. Known him 30+ years. Solid dude. Really great woodworker. And hes in the process of dismantling his old truck and completely striping it and redoing it.
I say all this cause a couple days later i go over and pick up the part. And it looks like someone took an angle grinder to it. Lol. I swear to god. And its a prominent part on the outside of my Jeep. I mean he stripped every last piece of paint off it. And a good amount of the metal. Lmao.
I like my friend to much to ever say anything. So I'm painting the part and putting it on anyway.
That's what a good friend does. Right?
Still laughing my ass off.
