Was reading the thread "Your go to music" and agreed with the comment by @Squatch.

"I consider the Beatles to be in a class by themselves. After that, it's just music. Some damn good music out there, mind you, but they're just not the Beatles. Favorite Beatles song are Revolution, Don't Let Me Down, and Anna (now that's an early one!). :thumbsup:"

These are a few of my favorites: For No One, Happiness is a Warm Gun, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, Here Comes the Sun and Don't Pass Me By (had to put a Ringo song in here)

They have a few tunes that I like, but I'm in a similar boat - my 10yr old daughter loves them (and Billy Joel, David Bowie, Elton John et al).

A gal I used to work with told me the story of when her family was watching the Ed Sullivan Show the night the Beatles performed. She said her Dad made the comment "They'll never amount to anything. Just look at that damned hair!"
