Automatic transmission discount? I would love to know the logic behind including the line item charge and then putting a big discount in a box below. They could've done that with the 3.73 axle & soft top which are listed as NO CHARGE. Somebody somewhere needed to charge for it for some reason.
I feel like @NashvilleTJ would hold onto something like that.

What's crazy about that is the fact people are paying new (then) prices for Jeeps with 200,000+ miles on them!

Man, I am looking at these fuel economy numbers with envy. I am excited when I get 16 hwy, and I get more like 11-12 right now in the city. Can't imagine seeing 18 or 19.

Or even more. People do NOT want the shit they're building now. Most "pre-iPhone" vehicles have been shooting up in price for some time now. "Cash for Clunkers" didn't help that situtation.
Mine didn't hold up too well. I kept the dealership tramp stamp too.

I bought my LJ from the original owner who special-ordered it. His name was on the top, but I removed it before posting it here out of courtesy for him. I also removed my VIN number. Not sure if that's necessary, but one thing I've learned is that hackers/scammers are always finding new ways to hurt you, so it was done under an abundance of caution only.

p.s. My wife had been screwed over by her previous husband. He told her to take the car when they split, then reported it stolen by her when he knew she left him. She has paid his new wife $350 for over 12 years (he died) She was always worried about that when we got together. That's why I paid cash for the Jeeps she wanted and put the title in her name if anything happens to me. One less issue. I still need to get her new tires for Christmas. Pray for both of us.
Not if they aren't the OG owner. Of the two TJs I've owned, I was not the OG owner for either. Cool to see everyone who bought theirs off the lot and still have it!
Yup, I always keep the sticker in the glove box. For the last few vehicles I've bought, I also download the PDF file of the sticker before the dealer removes it from their website. Though my 06 LJ and 04 TJ were used. Pretty sure I don't have either sticker. I'll have to look.
I definitely shake my head in disbelief when I see the sticker prices back when these were new. I just bought a Bronco. I'll try to resist looking at that sticker again until I forget about this thread.
I have mine! The previous owner kept it in the (objectively cool) canvas Owners Manual pouch. I'll post it some time in the next week when I get it back from the shop (don't ask)
