The TJ got decent mpg on road trip!

I’ve driven my TJ round-trip from Texas to Indiana twice over the past year, and averaged 16.5mpg.

Fortunately low range works good for dragging logs.

That overdrive ratio is INSANELY high.

I have found these new "zero drop" shoes to be close to driving barefoot. I have been using these Merrels for driving, they are rhe best I have used to date...

Since living in Vegas and having sunny weather all the time I have found that driving in my thongs is rather liberating and no joke, I do feel more pedal sensitivity

I have a pair of Inov8 bare 210’s (I think that’s the number). They are as close to barefoot as I have found. I bought them for CrossFit though. I do like driving in them though because they are so narrow.

Edit to add: the are so thin on the soles though that large pebbles hurt on pavement.
