I tried that. I agreed on $12,000, my insurance company agreed on $5,800. They always win.

I have mine insured with hagerty for 12,500, but if you daily drive yours that probably won't be an option

I tried their site and they have too many stipulations. I rarely drive mine anymore, so maybe I could find a better rate somewhere. VA sucks for insurance rates and about everything else.

I use gps and track. I have them on my equipment. They offer geo fencing that sends you an alert when vehicle is moved out of the boundary. I have them on all my trucks to track how many miles they drove in a state for IFTA. $99 a year after the first year.

i have a very nice '04 Rubicon that i have invested a fair amount of money in , its mosty a grocery getter but looks real nice and clean.
i live in Rapid City SD, crime is low here but only takes one person to steal it.
i noticed on my recent renewal tags it has a valve of $2500 i have more in tires and wheels than that

I have a viper alarm with ignition kill. Also motion sensor for top/doors off. If someone reaches in the alarm provides a warning before sounding.
