Thinking about Rear Shock Skid/Armor

I ran across a set when I was looking for a Rear Diff cover, but I can't find the specific one again.

I noticed some rock rash last time I was under the jeep.

What is the general opinion on the lower shock mount armor. Is it useful? I don't plan on bashing it on purpose, just for some added protection if I misjudge a big rock.

If I could weld I’d get the Currie’s for 30 dollars. Since I can’t I’ve been eyeing the Rock Hard 4x4. Definitel need protection for the front lower CA’s.

EDIT: Geeze the price went up on those. Last time I looked they were 79
