Third brake light contact point not attached to wire.

Driving home from work last night noticed my third brake light was out changed the bulb checked the wires checked the contact point and this one was very loose so loose it literally just came out with no force. How would I get into there to re attach the contact point to the wire?

All I did was push mine back in and everything was fine. If yours don't work that way you'll need some help from someone else.

Yeah when I push it back in its just loose and there's no power going to it. The wire on the inside of the body is definitely not where its supposed to be.

Did you try pulling the grommet out and looking for the wire? That should give you a little more room to maybe fish it out.

I have not didn't know those came out. I'll try that now.

Thanks a lot man that did the trick, had to use my thinest needle nose pliers but I found the wire fished it out and now it works again, thanks again brother.
