Ok, I'm installing a steering fluid cooler and was wondering what is the best sealant on the 1/4 npt sections of the fittings?
PTFE paste or teflon tape held back one thread?

Red Liquid Loctite 272 or 271. Has the added benefit of not allowing the flares to lock down and turn the NPT fittings when you need to remove them.

I have tape, paste and Blue Locktite, but no Red.
I do use two wrenches, fitting wrenches when I can.
I don't plan on removing them once installed, soo I'll have to get some Red.
