Tie rod end dust boots

I have (to my knowledge) OEM steering components. I noticed while greasing things, the tie rod ends dust boots, and others, are cracked and leaking grease. I have read that the way to get these is to replace the components they are attached too. That being said I have found tie rod end replacement boots. I’m curious, of those that have replaced just the dust boots. Did you find a brand better than another? Are the various dust boots under there the same size regardless of component? I’m only finding replacement tie rod dust boots. The steering has no ill manners and seems tight.

I wouldn't worry about them. If you service the joint regularly dirt and dust isn't going to migrate into the joint. They are supposed to let out grease anyway, doesn't really matter where the vent is. As long as the boot holds a bit of grease around the joint it'll be fine even with cracks and tears in the boot. As you've probably already seen some replacements are simply cups that really are just open covers.

Everything I saw looked like cups. They didn’t look like they sealed top and bottom like oem. I’ll keep a closer eye on them. They didn’t go dry at least.
