This morning I saw these tires on a Jeep. Looks totally out of proportion, IMO. Was this a stock option? Or did they pay extra to do that aftermarket?

I believe the SE’s came with 215/75/15 tires stock and the 15x6 wheels you captured in the picture. My original tires on my 2002 sport came with either 225 or 235/75/15 tires. These equate to 27.5, 28.3 and 28.8 inch diameter tires respectively.

But I agree, the 215’s never looked right to me on a Jeep.

I would have thought it was a small size spare on that one wheel, but that’s what it looked like all around. :)

I wonder if they scrape going over speed bumps.

There is probably I sticker on their back window that says " My other car is a 64 Impala Mexican low rider "

It turns out this TJ lives in the same neighborhood as I do! I saw it out in their driveway the other day.

Next time, I'll go up and ask them about those tires. And ask them to sell the Jeep to me for a good price. They clearly don't deserve it. :)

Ask him for a discount as you don't need the wheelbarrow wheels he's got on there hehe

I bought my TJ from a small dealer that had taken it on a trade for one just like it but with an automatic. The previous owner swapped the wheels/tires so he could keep his 31's, and I got a 3" lift with the 29s from the TJ he bought.

I'm working on bringing the look back with my 32's with MCE's and just added another inch of ride height since this photo :ROFLMAO:
