Hello fellow enthusiasts.
I want to put 255/65 R17 AT tires on my 04 TJ. I installed 1.25" wheel spacer adapters and changed my stock 15" rims to 17". The original stock tire size is a 30" diameter X 9.5" width on 15" rims. I want to use the 255/65 R17's which will still be 30" diameter but will increase the width by 1/2" to 10". Since I added an additional 1.25" spacer, I figure the extra 1/2" tire width won't rub on the inside fender well. Is my thinking right or am I missing something?
I want to be sure before I buy new tires.
Thanks in advance fir your input.
