i bought a '98 2.5 tj as spares or repair, no pcm, so I bought one from US with my vin programmed in and skim removed, when I fitted it the car with the skim module disconnected, started and stopped after a couple of seconds, read all the forums and consensus was it's still got skim, so I sent it to a company in the UK to get skim/ immobiliser removed.
Got it back and have the same issue, however discovered that if I put a bit of fuel in the throttle body it starts and dies, so I presume it's a fuelling issue with the same symptoms as skim.
There is fuel pressure in the fuel rail but haven't measured it.
The auto shutdown relay relay clicks in for about 2 seconds then drops out.
Any suggestions anyone?
