TJ hardtop wiring

This may be a long shot but I recently bought a hardtop for my Jeep same year and everything but my Jeep didn’t come from the factory with the hardtop so mine isn’t setup with the wiring what I was wondering if I got the pigtail part that connected to hardtop if I could run wire to them from my multifunctional switches I have wired in my Jeep if it’ll let my rear wiper work and defroster if I ran them to two different switches?

I already read those that for the whole harness I don’t have any of it. What I was wondering was if I got the 6 pin plug that plug into the 6 pin plug that comes off the hardtop if I could rub my own wiring to switches I have in my Jeep for exterior lighting if the defroster would work and the wiper would work for when it rains

Yes, you certainly could as long as you’re decent with wiring.
