I frequently travel in areas that are very muddy.
Anybody got any tips on how to protect the radiator and best way to clean the radiator when you get home.
After my last trip when I lifted the bonnet EVERYTHING was covered in mud.

I've had success in cleaning a radiator by removing the spray nozzle on a water hose, so you don't get that real hard forceful spray, and just used the end of the hose to wash it off from the backside, flushing everything towards the front. Working around the shroud and fan can be tricky, but doable.
