Hi
I’m going to put my CJ on my TJ Frame
The rear section of the CJ is rusted, my doner TJ rear section is good.
In the end I want to end up with the TJ drivetrain and CJ dash and front clip
Figured this is the best way to do it and the fuel filler will line up

Does anyone have any advise on the best place to merge the two bodies
Ie. behind the door or in front of the door
Thanks RD

That is going to be an interesting project. Do you need to go up into the door area or can you stay in the area of the package shelf?

Its a lot of work...but possible. This thread will kind of detail the differences and where it might be best to make cuts, if you want to try and graft the CJ firewall and Cowl into the TJ tub

In the resources section, I uploaded a collision repair manual for TJ's (from Chrysler). It details all the places on a TJ tub where there are spot welds, seam seal, etc. It will be handy for this project.
