Hey guys, so I currently have a TJ with a set up Id like to stick with, but I am currently purchasing an LJ I’d like to transfer everything over to. Before I jump into, I have a few questions.
the TJ has a teraflex 4” long arm I’d like to swap over, but I’m guessing the only thing that wouldn’t work would be the single piece bracket that mounts to the frame and holds the frame side of the control arms, correct? Would I just need to get the long arm mounts for the frame? Since the tj and LJ use the same length arms, I’m guessing they’d swap right over if the mounts were in the right place?
rear axle is a Ford 8.8, trussed, 456 gears, arb air locker
front true Dana 44, with zj spindles for the high steer kit, curry steering, 456’s, air locker as well.
Has anyone made a swap similar to this? I may just be over thinking it, but I think the mounts for the frame will be the only thing I’ll have to modify since the frame is longer there?
