Agreed. Out of the box thinking keeps the off road world progressing..... Btw, I think Shannon Campbell has "experimented" with IFS in a little rockcrawling race out in Death valley.

Military M-151 had IS. Lot of problems

Problems when landing after going airborne mostly. The front tires would fold under the jeep when they are free floating. And upon landing when they tried to return to normal position they would pogo the front end. High speed corners would allow too much body roll. Should have been caught in the design phase. But totally fixable nowadays.
