Looking to replace the soft top, does anyone have an opinion on what brand to go with? Also thinking about getting a hard top, possibly. Thoughts?
Do you have a pic?I just got a rampage bowless soft top. I like removing the Windows and having the top still on kinda like a safari top!
Yes, it does take a bit of space away. Mine is an LJ so I can spare that little bit.Hmmm looking for one that's square in the back. I like how it looks on yours but mine is a tad shorter and I need all the room I can get lol
Just received my new sail cloth top from www.autotopsdirect.com. Quality appears just as good as a Best Top for only $229. Can't really beat that.Looking to replace the soft top, does anyone have an opinion on what brand to go with? Also thinking about getting a hard top, possibly. Thoughts?

I've only test driven it on the highway once after the install, but it does seem quieter than the Bestop Top I replaced, which was the Bestop Black Diamond Top.Looks great, how's the noise on the highway?

I'm still using the factory frame and hardware, while I'm sure you're right, I wasn't willing to spend $1000 for a Bestop Top.It's real hard to beat the quality and quietness of Bestop's Sailcloth Replace-A-Top so long as you're running the OE factory soft top mechanism.
Bestop's Sailcloth Replace-A-Top is $624. https://www.bestop.com/jeep/2004/wr...bmodel/standard/wndwcolor/clear/doorskins/no/I wasn't willing to spend $1000 for a Bestop Top.
