Trailer wiring

All the wires pass through one side on a TJ although the side changes depending on the year. Mine has all the wires on the passenger side but I think some have them on the driver side. It'll still work both turn signals.

Yea thanks, it’s just strange how some kits plug in to both the driver and passenger side harnesses, while others (Hopkins) uses just one side. Seems redundant to plug into both driver and passenger if just one side works. Im probably going with the Hopkins kit. Thanks for the input

Not true of all TJs.

My '05 LJR did not have both turn signal wires at either side. I found and used a plug & play harness that connected to both sides.

Good to know, I always thought that it meant the wires were on the other side.
