Has anyone seen this before? Excuse my ignorance. What could have caused this to the transmission dipstick? It doesn't seem normal to me. It looks like dry and hard ATF from a long time in there.
I haven't removed it but I've tried scraping it off with my fingernail and it seems to go away, it seems ATF to me. The rest of the dipstick is fine, it's just that part. Where the measurement shows is clean and without stains. Someone responded on reddit TJ that it could be condensation entering through the oring of the dipstick. Can this be possible?
Apparently the comment was here lol. Sir, really, this dipstick looks really old and maybe that could be a problem, it is also a little bent. But I guess I might just have to drop the pan and cross my fingers.
