Transmission Identification

Just purchase my first Wrangler and trying to identify this transmission because when I shift from gear to gear if I don't pause there's a little grind so I think maybe the synchs are getting worn out. Just trying to learn about this thing.

* Used with 4 cyl models
* 2 different names used (1500 and 2550) interchangeably
* 10 spline input
* 23 spline output
* Ratios:
1st - 3.85
2nd - 2.25
3rd - 1.48
4th - 1.00
5th - 0.75 or 0.80
Rev - 3.52
