Had a knocking sound develop, sounded like in the bell housing area. Knock was only present while in gear and under power. Let off the gas, push in the clutch or put in neutral and the knock goes away. Changed clutch and throwout bearing and the sound is still present. Has anyone experienced anything like this.

That really does sound like a throwout bearing gone bad. However, the knock your describing also sounds like knocking coming from the engine possibly due to the timing retarding itself... You know, like the sound it makes when you put regular gasoline in a performance engine that uses premium, then proceed to go up a hill at low RPMs...?
