Hello, So I have run into a rather large issue while trying to replace my blown subwoofer on my 2004 wrangler.
I was following this video on youtube -

2001 - 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ OEM Subwoofer Replacement

Everything seemed to be going smoothy until I put the center console back in reconnected the wiring harness and tried to start the Jeep. There is nothing happening, no lights, no clicking, completely dead. If anyone has any advice on what I have done here that would be super helpful. I have looked at the fuses and haven't found any blown ones.

Battery terminals. Remove, clean thoroughly, tighten well. Always the first step. Check voltage of battery with meter.

I'm about to do the same. What did you replace it with?

I ordered a replacement off of ebay. The shop is called jeepzoneusa. The one I got is searchable by entering
"Jeep WRANGLER TJ Replacement Center Console Sub Woofer Speaker MADE IN USA"
There are higher end replacements out there but this one seems decent and is reasonably priced.
I didnt put a lot of time into researching every option tbh so dont necessarily take my suggestion. But its a big improvement over the blown subwoofer I can say that much.

I just ordered the Pyramid WX65X - per a couple YT vids it is plug and play if you pop off those 3/4" "spacer tabs" that the base of the sub rests on - we'll see, I don't have it in hand yet

I saw your post and ordered the eBay speaker. Looks comparable to the Quadratec offering. I just wanted an easy plug and play solution for a destroyed original. This fit perfectly and it plays music! 😆 Thanks for the info.
