I need to purchase u joints for my front drive axle. What do you recommend? Spicer is a big one I hear. Any particular one?

thanks a lot Jerry. So the axle shaft that connect the transfercase to the front differential needs two spicer 5-1310x, correct? For your front axle shafts go with Spicer 5-760x which is a direct replacement and both stronger and more durable than the Spicer 297 u-joints the factory installed. For your Driveshafts Spicer 5-1310x for similar reasons, they are stronger and more durable than the Spicers the factory installed.
Decent website for u-joints and other parts. They have the chart below on the link. Just look for your year and Rubicon or not. Greaseable or non (Many recommend non-greaseable for strength) 5-1310X is what you would want. If you are rebuilding the whole driveshaft then go ahead and replace the CV joint. My bad on not using the right terms. I was talking about the front driveshaft (connecting Tcase to the front differential).

This would be the whole kit for the driveshaft.

Yes though your front driveshaft actually needs three of them. One at the front and two at the rear.thanks a lot Jerry. So the axle shaft that connect the transfer case to the front differential needs two spicer 5-1310x, correct?
