One time my buddy and I took our Jeeps to a car show and made angry eyes out of duct tape in an attempt to mock those who do it haha

Saw this on Facebook today. Aside from the snorkel and the angry eyes, it would look just fine (in my opinion).

But seriously... What the fuck is up with the orange 'angry eyes'. These things are to Jeeps what halo headlights are to ricers.

Chrome??? its ok. A bit in excess especially those windshield brackets.
But the clear lenses on the lights are just down right gross.
Side markers, signal... red or amber... anything less is gross.

Rag on a hi-lift all you want, but when I come across an 8,000lb full size stuck in whatever he's stuck in, and my choices are to tie my TJ to something and winch him out, risking pulling mine apart - or hand him my hi-lift and tell him he got himself in, he can get himself out - guess which one I'm going with.......

No doubt the halos were cool on BMWs. But then every asshole with a Honda (and then some) took that and ran with it. Now I just hate it!

That's my thought. And obviously I respect peoples individuality, but really... I just can't wrap my head around something like this or how it could ever be 'cool'. It is what it is, but I just think the Jeep would look so much better without the angry eyes!

Just like "blacking out" your headlights, tail lights and markers. Why the F*** would you want to tint your lights and make them dimmer and less effective? Looks? So dumb!

I agree 110%. I see those guys that do that particularly on Hondas. All that does it make your already dim taillights even dimmer, thus make it harder to see you at night (and potentially more dangerous).

I think you're right though, a lot of this is a younger generation. I'm almost 33, so some of this is possibly just over my head.
