Ugly: Two weeks ago had some awful pulling to the right. Visually checked tire 3 miles from home. Backed in and woah! Smoking fight front wheel. Seized caliper and melted brake line. Next day fixed.
Good: hard top cart came out nice and so we took a topless ride.
Bad: figured install the soft top for the season. Me not knowing better, didn’t know the to ask the PO for door surrounds or the back rail. Hard top back on and the softy back in storage. PO finally responds...uh I don’t see any other parts but I’ll check the next time I’m at the storage unit. It’s obvious this has been installed and yet he doesn’t know. WTF.
Just needed to vent frustration.
the vibe I get from Jeep owners is pride of ownership and passing that on. This PO is clearly an outlier.
ps: used old rubber keepers from laptop power supply to stop the rear seatbelts flapping. Worked great.
