Not sure of how many of y'all may or may not have seen this series on YouTube, but, if you haven't; it's some of the best wheeling footage I've seen to date (video-links below).

This journey is now on my "Bucket List", right next to surfing Pipeline Hawaii; building a serious LJ; and having a 10" Navy tattoo replaced with one of Johnny Cash walking a railroad with guitar case in-hand.

BIG tires, BIG axles, BIG lifts, BIG horse power and BIG Alaska - over a 7-day journey.

Lots of cool rigs: CJ's, TJ's, JK's, '51 Willy's Wagon, '79 Cherokee Chief, Gladiators, IH Scouts, Bronco's, Power Wagon's, etc.

Fred Williams of "Dirt Every Day" is along for the ride in an old Power Wagon with a Cummins diesel - one mean machine.

This series is worthy of a binge-watch (extra large pizza, Bon Bon's, Doritos, and Rocky Road ice cream).

Oh ya...only thing better is that of being there myself.

Aware that there's a good percentage of Jeepers among us who rarely have the chance to engage authentic Overlanding; these posts are for them (nothing wrong with being an "Armchair Wheeler" - one breaks fewer parts that way) :).

Its going to be one hell of a drive, but its a good drive, and the Air Force gets to pay for it.

I made a cross-country trip in my previous TJ, and it wasn't so bad. As long as I stopped regularly to stretch-out and walk, I was good to go. It was Summer time, and I had the rear panel of my soft top rolled up for some nice airflow. It was a trip I won't forget.

I drove the Alcan from Anchorage to Wisconsin and back in a CJ7, also drove to Utah in the same jeep. Drove it in a 93 four banger YJ, the YJ just sucked for power on some of those mountain passes. Still a great drive. Stop in Downtown whitehorse, they know how to party in that town.

We spent the night in Whitehorse last time we drive tough. There were a bunch of drunk people outside when we got there, so party town for sure.
Ill be towing the TJ again, I wouldn't want to make that trip in anything other than my truck.

I've like all the ultimate adventures that come out each year. This year's is the first that I want to replicate. It's such an endeavor and has some amazing views! Just gotta make more overlanding friends to make that trip!
