Thank you guys for the advice in my last thread. I’ve decided to tackle the lift myself and pray that the upper shock mount bolts stay intact.
While I’m under the Jeep I’d like to tackle any other reasonable upgrades & routine maintenance. I hate hanging out under jackstands so hoping this is the last time I have to have it up for a few months. Here’s what I’m planning to check off as it stands besides the lift:
1) Frame drain holes / Eastwood inner frame treatment
2) Sand/encapsulate any surface rust and undercoat frame (include lowering or removing trans skid)
3) Trans fluid change (NV3550)
4)Transfer case linkage upgrade (Savvy)
5) Check pads/rotors, replace if needed
6) Transfer case fluid change
Anything I missed or should inspect more closely as I’m going through? I’ve allocated a portion of my Christmas bonus to the TJ and there’s still a few dollars remaining, within reason
