Upper radiator hose size?

I am trying to figure out what size coupling to put in the upper radiator hose to measure temperature for a radiator fan. I was trying to find the size but very hard to find a measurement that is is the middle of the hose.

A 1.25 inch coupling should work, but it’s always a good idea to measure your hose directly if you can.
