So I have been rebuilding my 02 TJ after a wreck I had several months ago. I got an 05 donor jeep, (yes a lot of things are different), but I mainly just wanted to switch put my motor and tub on it. But ended up using the wiring harness and pcm too because of the 6spd and a few different things. Anyway im at the point of firing it back up but I go to crank and nothing so I put a code scanner on it and just for the heck of it tried to crank and it started to crank, (I have no fuel going in yet so just cranking it). So I took the scanner off and same thing no crank, scanner on and it cranks and everything reads right. I find it weird and it is puzzling me why it's happening. Any ideas?
