Hello;
I hope someone can help me, i bought my TJ 2 years ago, haven't wrecked it, I was investigating a metal on metal sound ( it was my shocks) and as I was investigating i noticed the spacing between my tires and fenders were off, one side had a different spacing than the other side ( see picture) the jeep doesn't really pull or seem to be out of alignment, one long arm seems to be adjusted about an 1 1/2 more than the other side. Most likely that's the culprit, has anyone had this issue? If I center both sides will it throw the alignment out? will it affect anything else?, anything i should watch for?,I am not crazy right? there is definitely something wrong, and is it a normal thing with tjs?
Also the stopper for the spring is also in a weird angle I am assuming it will straighten once I adjust the long arms
